इंडोनेशिया में ज्वालामुखी फटने से आई भयंकर सुनामी, 222 लोगों की मौत, 800 से ज्यादा घायल

जकार्ता। इंडोनेशिया के पश्चिम में जावा और सुमात्रा के मध्य स्थित सुन्डा जलसंधि क्षेत्र में ज्वालामुखी विस्फोट के कारण आई सुनामी के कारण मरने वालों की संख्या बढ़कर 222 हो गई है। इस हादसे में 843 से अधिक लोग घायल हैं और 28 अन्य लापता हैं। सुनामी दौरान करीब 20 मीटर ऊंची लहरें उठीं, जिससे होटलों सहित सैकड़ों मकान नष्ट हो गए।

इंडोनेशिया की आपदा प्रबंधन एजेंसी के प्रवक्ता सुतुोपो पूरवो नूगरोहो और अधिकारियों ने रविवार को यह जानकारी दी। उन्होंने मृतकों की संख्या में और बढ़ोत्तरी होने की बात कही है। इंडोनेशिया की मौसम विज्ञान और भूभौतिकी एजेंसी के वैज्ञानिकों ने लहरों के उफान का कारण पूर्णिमा के चंद्रमा को भी बताया।

सुनामी से जावा में बांटेन प्रांत का पांडेगलांग जिला सबसे बुरी तरह से प्रभावित हुआ है। इंडोनेशिया की राजधानी जकार्ता के दक्षिण पश्चिम में स्थित लोकप्रिय बीच और उजुंग कुलोंग राष्ट्रीय उद्यान भी सुनामी के सबसे बुरी तरह प्रभावित क्षेत्र में शामिल है।

आपदा प्रबंधन एजेंसी के अनुसार सुनामी शनिवार रात स्थानीय समयानुसार नौ बजकर 27 मिनट पर सुन्डा जलसंधि समेत बांटेन प्रांत के पांडेगलांग एवं सेरांग जिलों और लाम्पुंग प्रांत के दक्षिण लाम्पुंग से टकराई।

प्रशासन ने आशंका जताई है कि अनाक क्राकातोआ ज्वालामुखी फटने से और समुद्र के नीचे चट्टानें खिसकने के कारण समुद्र की लहरें ऊंची उठी और उसने सुनामी का रूप ले लिया।

इंडोनेशिया के मौसम और भूगोल एजेंसी प्रमुख द्विकोरिता कर्णावती ने पत्रकारों को कहा कि सुनामी का कारण अनाक क्राकातोआ ज्वालामुखी फटना है।कर्णावती के हवाले से कहा, 'हमारा अनुमान है कि ज्वालामुखी फटने से समुद्र के नीचे चट्टानों की परत खिसक गई, जिसके परिणामस्वरूप सुनामी आई है।'

प्रत्यक्षदर्शियों ने सोशल मीडिया पर सुनामी का मंजर सोशल मीडिया पर बयां किया है। ओयस्टीन एंडरसन ने फेसबुक पर लिखा कि तट से गुजरते समय लहरों की ऊंचाई 15 से 20 मीटर थी, जिसकी वजह से हमें तट से भागना पड़ा। उसने कहा कि वह ज्वालामुखी की तस्वीरें ले रहा था कि अचानक तेज गति से आती एक बड़ी लहर दिखी।

एंडरसन ने लिखा, 'दूसरी लहर एक होटल में घुसी जहां हम रुके हुए थे। मैं परिवार के साथ किसी तरह जंगल और गांव के रास्ते बचने में कामयाब रहा, फिलहाल स्थानीय लोग हमारी देखभाल कर रहे हैं, शुक्र है कि हम सुरक्षित हैं।'

सुनामी का सबसे ज्यादा प्रभाव जावा के बांतेन प्रांत के पांडेंगलांग क्षेत्र में पड़ा है। आपदा प्रबंधन एजेंसी के मुताबिक यहां 33 लोगों की मौत हुई है। इसके अलावा दक्षिणी सुमात्रा के बांदर लामपंग शहर में सैकड़ों लोगों को गवर्नर के कार्यालय में शरण लेनी पड़ी है।

भूभौतिकी एजेंसी ने कहा कि हिंद महासागर और जावा समुद्र को जोड़ने वाले सुंडा जलडमरूमध्य में सुनामी आने से करीब 24 मिनट पहले अनाक क्राकाटाओ ज्वालामुखी फटा था। इससे पहले सितंबर में सुलावेसी द्वीप पर पालू शहर में आए भूकंप और सुनामी में करीब 2,500 लोगों की मौत हुई थी।

14 साल पहले सुनामी ने 2 लाख से ज्यादा लोगों की जान ली थी, जिसमें से अकेले इंडोनेशिया में 1 लाख 68 हजार लोगों की मौत हुई थी। सोशल मीडिया में इंडोनेशिया का एक बैंड भी वायरल हुआ है। सैवनटीन नाम का यह बैंड बीच के ऊपर स्टेज बनाकर अपना कार्यक्रम प्रस्तुत कर रहा था। बैंड का मजा ले रहे लोगों के लिए सैटरडे नाइट 'हॉरर नाइट' में तब्दील हो गई।

लोग कार्यक्रम की 'सैटरडे नाइट' की मस्ती में डूबे थे कि अचानक सुनामी ने सब तहस नहस कर दिया। बैंड के 2 लोगों की मौत हो गई, कई लोगों की हड्‍डियां टूट गई। बैंड के 4 लोग अभी भी लापता है, जिसमें एक गायक की पत्नी भी शामिल है। सोशल मीडिया में हादसे का विडियो भी वायरल हुआ है। इस वीडियो में सिंगर अपनी पत्नी की तलाश की अपील कर रहा है।
