Corona Virus : यूरोप में कोहराम, UN ने कहा- दूसरे विश्व युद्ध के बाद मानवता के सामने भीषण संकट

पेरिस। कोरोना वायरस की महामारी बुधवार तक के वैश्विक आंकड़ों के अनुसार अकेले यूरोप में ही 30 हजार से अधिक लोगों की जान ले चुकी है।

इसके साथ ही संयुक्त राष्ट्र (United Nations) प्रमुख ने इसे दूसरे विश्वयुद्ध के बाद मानवता के समक्ष सबसे भीषण संकट करार दिया है।

इटली और स्पेन में कोरोना वायरस ने कहर मचा रखा है और पूरे महाद्वीप में प्रत्येक 4 मौतों में से 3 मौत इन देशों में हो रही हैं।

स्थिति यह है कि पृथ्वी की लगभग आधी आबादी इस समय लॉकडाउन की जद में है, ताकि संक्रमण को और फैलने से रोका जा सके।

अमेरिकी राष्ट्रपति डोनाल्ड ट्रंप ने देश में पिछले 24 घंटों की अवधि के सर्वाधिक खतरनाक रहने के बीच आगाह किया कि समूचे अटलांटिक के लिए दो सप्ताह बहुत दर्दनाक हो सकते हैं। उन्होंने इस स्थिति को ‘प्लेग’ करार दिया।

अमेरिका में इस विषाणु के संक्रमण के मामले तेजी से बढ़ रहे हैं। देश में कोरोना वायरस के अब तक लगभग 1,90,000 मामले सामने आ चुके हैं। संक्रमण के मामलों की संख्या महज 5 दिन के भीतर ही दुगुनी हो गई है।

चीन में दिसंबर में महामारी के उभरने के बाद से समूचे विश्व में अब तक लगभग 41 हजार लोगों की मौत हो चुकी है और 8,30,000 से अधिक मामले सामने आए हैं।

संयुक्त राष्ट्र प्रमुख एंतोनियो गुतारेस का मानना है कि वायरस की वजह से असाधारण आर्थिक और राजनीतिक उथल-पुथल की स्थिति पैदा हो रही है तथा विश्व भीषण खतरे का सामना कर रहा है।

उन्होंने कहा कि हमारा मानना है कि दूसरे विश्वयुद्ध के बाद हम सबसे बड़े चुनौतीपूर्ण संकट का सामना कर रहे हैं।कोरोना वायरस के चलते दुनियाभर में लॉकडाउन के चलते कंपनियां बंद हो गई हैं और श्रमशक्ति को घरों में बैठना पड़ रहा है। इसके चलते विश्व में आर्थिक अनिश्चितता और अशांति के दृश्य सामने आ रहे हैं।

इटली में नि:शुल्क भोजन वितरण केंद्रों के बाहर लोगों की लंबी कतारें देखी जा सकती हैं जबकि कुछ सुपर बाजारों में लूटपाट की खबरें हैं।

विकासशील देशों में लॉकडाउन का आर्थिक दर्द काफी ज्यादा है। इसके चलते दुनिया की अर्थव्यवस्था चरमरा रही है और लाखों लोगों को अपनी नौकरी गंवानी पड़ी है।

लॉकडाउन के चलते संकट अभी और गहरा सकता है। अनुसंधानकर्ताओं का कहना है कि कोविड-19 का केंद्र रहे वुहान को बंद करने के चीन के फैसले से हजारों नए मामलों को रोकने में मदद मिली।

ऑक्सफोर्ड यूनिवर्सिटी के क्रिस्टोफर डिये ने कहा कि हमारा आकलन कहता है कि वुहान में यात्रा प्रतिबंध और राष्ट्रीय आपदा मोचन जैसे कदम न उठाए गए होते तो फरवरी के मध्य तक ही वुहान के बाहर 7 लाख से अधिक मामले हो जाते।
