मोदी सरकार का बड़ा फैसला : बैंक डूबा तो 90 दिन में खाताधारकों को वापस मिलेंगे पैसे, जानिए इससे जुड़ी हर जानकारी

नई दिल्ली। मोदी सरकार की ओर से बैंक ग्राहकों को बड़ी राहत दी गई है। केंद्रीय कैबिनेट ने बैंक डूबने की स्थिति में खाताधारकों को 90 दिन के अंदर 5 लाख रुपए तक की अपनी राशि हासिल करने की सुरक्षा देने को लेकर डीआईसीजीसी कानून में संशोधन के प्रस्ताव को मंजूरी दी है।

यह फैसला प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी की अध्यक्षता में हुई केन्द्रीय मंत्रिमंडल की बैठक में लिया गया। सरकार के इस फैसले से उन ग्राहकों को राहत मिलेगी, जिनकी रकम किसी न किसी वजह से बंद हो चुके या लाइसेंस रद्द किए गए बैंकों में फंसी हुई है।

मानसून सत्र में ही आएगा बिल : डिपॉजिट इंश्योरेंस एंड क्रेडिट गारंटी कॉर्पोरेशन (डीआईसीजीसी) एक्ट में बदलाव को कैबिनेट की मंजूरी मिल गई है। वित्‍तमंत्री निर्मला सीतारमण ने बताया कि सरकार इस बिल को मानसून सत्र में लाएगी। डीआईसीजीसी कानून में संशोधन के साथ जमा बीमा का दायरा बढ़ जाएगा और इसके अंतर्गत 98.3 प्रतिशत बैंक खाताधारक पूरी तरह सुरक्षित हो जाएंगे।

90 दिन के अंदर पूरी हो जाएगी प्रक्रिया : वित्तमंत्री निर्मला सीतामरण बताया कि अब किसी बैंक के दिवालिया होने या उसका लाइसेंस रद्द होने या उस पर रिजर्व बैंक द्वारा कोई प्रतिबंध लगने पर 90 दिनों के अंदर खाताधारक को उसकी 5 लाख रुपए तक की जमा मिलने की प्रक्रिया पूरी हो जाएगी।

वित्तमंत्री ने बताया कि संकटग्रस्त बैंक के मामले में पहले 45 दिनों के अंदर उन सभी खातों की जानकारी जुटाई जाएगी। डीआईसीजीसी इन खातों को चेक करेगा और फिर अगले 45 दिनों के अंदर डिपॉजिटर्स को 5 लाख रुपए तक की राशि सौंपे जाने की प्रक्रिया पूरी हो जाएगी।

सीतारमण ने कहा कि पहले बैंकों में जमा राशि के 100 रुपए के लिए 10 पैसे का प्रीमियम हुआ करता था। अब यह बढ़ाकर 12 पैसे किया गया है, लेकिन यह किसी भी समय प्रति 100 रुपए के लिए 15 पैसे से अधिक नहीं हो सकता है। डिपॉजिट इंश्योरेंस एंड क्रेडिट गारंटी कॉर्पोरेशन बिल 2021 के अंतर्गत सभी जमाओं का 98.3% कवर किया जाएगा और जमा मूल्य के संदर्भ में 50.9% जमा मूल्य को कवर किया जाएगा।

बैंक में एक से ज्यादा अकाउंट में भी 5 लाख की ही गारंटी : डिपॉजिट इंश्योरेंस के तहत ग्राहक के कुल 5 लाख रुपए ही सुरक्षित होते हैं। अगर ग्राहक का एक ही बैंक की कई ब्रांच में अकाउंट है, तो सभी अकाउंट में डिपॉजिट अमाउंट और ब्‍याज जोड़कर 5 लाख तक की रकम ही सुरक्षित मानी जाएगी। इसमें मूलधन और ब्‍याज दोनों शामिल होंगे।
