एक दिवस आता है गणतंत्र दिवस.... और आंखों के सामने चारों तरफ से कुछ खास शब्दों की बरखा होने लगती है- संविधान, गणतंत्र, तिरंगा, देश, आजादी, अधिकार, कर्तव्य, स्वाभिमान, राष्ट्र... और भी कई .... लेकिन दिल से एक सवाल क्या हम में से किसी ने भी इनके अर्थों को ईमानदारी से जानने की कोशिश की है? क्या हम मन की सच्चाई से इनमें गहरे तक उतर पाते हैं? क्या हमने इस देश को रहने योग्य रखा है? क्या हम इस देश में रहने योग्य हैं?
देश क्या है, राष्ट्र क्या है, देशभक्ति क्या है? अधिकार क्या हैं, कर्तव्य क्या है? हम क्या हैं, हमें कैसे होना चाहिए और कैसे हम बनना चाहते हैं... सवाल ही सवाल हैं और जवाब कहीं नहीं... कौन देगा उत्तर...?
साल भर हम अपने ही 'दो दूनी चार, रोटी कपड़ा और मकान' में लगे रहते हैं लेकिन जिस धरा पर हम रहते हैं, जहां हम सांस लेते हैं, जहां से हम भोजन पानी पाते हैं, जहां हम रोजगार करते हैं, जिसकी गोद में हम सोते हैं ..उसके लिए कब सोचते हैं?
मात्र एक दिन??? और वह भी अपने फेसबुक की डीपी बदल कर, व्हॉट्सएप की डीपी बदल कर, ट्विटर पर चहचहाकर... इंस्टाग्राम पर, मोबाइल में, तिरंगे परिधान धारण कर, हाथ और चेहरे पर तिरंगा बनवाकर, बाईक पर तिरंगा लहरा कर... शाम तक एक 'अवकाश' बीत जाता है और एक 'काश' खामोश खड़ा रह जाता है... काश कि देश के लिए कुछ किया होता, काश कि देश के लिए कुछ सोचा होता....
देश के लिए क्या करें? क्या कर सकते हैं? सवाल फिर सामने से हाजिर है... तो पहले हम जान लें कि देश क्या है?
कोई भी देश उसकी भौगोलिक सीमाओं से बनता है,उफनते समुद्र, इठलाती नदी, अटल पहाड़, झरझर झरने, तटस्थ पठार, महकती मिट्टी, मुस्कुराती हरियाली, धानी चुनर पहने धरती से बनता है जबकि एक राष्ट्र उस भौगौलिक सीमाओं में रहने वाले निवासियों से बनता है। जब विविध धर्म, जाति, संप्रदाय, प्रांत, विचार और मान्यताओं को मानने वाले लोग हर दिन साथ रहने के संकल्प के साथ जीते हैं और परस्पर सुख-दुख बांटते हैं, जब हर दिन इसमें रहने वाले लोग सामाजिक मूल्य, अनुशासन, नैतिकता, संस्कृति और सभ्यता के साथ एक दूजे के सहभागी बनते हैं तब वह राष्ट्र कहलाता है...
अब जरा सोचें कि देश में हम रहते हैं, इससे सबकुछ लेते हैं पर इसे क्या देते हैं सिवाय कचरा, कूड़ा और अपशिष्ट के... इसी तरह राष्ट्र में भी हम रह रहे हैं पर इसे क्या दे रहे हैं... हड़ताल, आंदोलन, आगजनी, बलात्कार, अपहरण, अत्याचार, हत्या, चोरी, डकैती, छल, झुठ, कपट और धोखा...
क्यों हो रही है इतनी दुर्घटनाएं, इतने बलात्कार, इतनी धोखाधड़ी... क्योंकि या तो हम या हममें से ही कोई इस देश, समाज और राष्ट्र में रहने के नियम का पालन नहीं कर रहा है...प्रभावित हम सब हैं, पूरा देश है, पर जिम्मेदार कौन है? कोई नहीं सब अपनी 'त्वचा' को बचा कर निकल जाएंगे दूसरे पर दोषारोपण कर... पर अपने ही राष्ट्रीय दिवस पर सिर्फ 'एक दिन' भी हम सोचते नहीं... कि हम क्या कर सकते हैं इस देश के लिए... बहुत ज्यादा नहीं तो इतना तो कर ही सकते हैं, (करने का सोच ही सकते हैं) कि हम ऐसा कुछ करें जो हमारे आसपास के वातावरण को सुंदर, निर्मल और शुभ बनाएं... आखिर क्यों स्वच्छता अभियान को इतने बड़े स्तर पर चलाने की जरूरत महसूस हुई क्योंकि हम स्वयं स्वच्छता को लेकर आग्रही नहीं रहे और अंतत: यह मजबूरी बन गई कि एक मुहिम चलानी पड़ी।
यही स्थिति मन के दूषित होने की भी है, विचारों के प्रदूषण की भी है, नैतिकता के अवमूल्यन की भी है...कितने आंदोलन, अभियान, मुहिम और चलाए जाने की दरकार है पर क्यों चलाए जाएं, क्यों ना हम ही सुधर जाएं... सिर्फ अपने आपको ही अनुशासित करना है, अपने आपको ही प्रखर, साहसी और संकल्पित बनाना है ... माहौल अपने आप सुधरता जाएगा...
क्या हम इतना नहीं कर सकते कि हमारी वजह से इस देश में अच्छाई बढ़ती जाए इतनी कि बुराई सिर ही ना उठा पाए...लेकिन हम करते क्या हैं ... एक फिल्म ' पद्मावत' हमारी अस्मिता को इस कदर प्रभावित कर देती है कि हम आगजनी और हिंसा से बाज नहीं आते... लेकिन एक फिल्म 'पैडमेन' भी आ रही है क्या हमने अपने घर की महिलाओं की सेहत की चिंता करते हुए उनसे पूछा है कि वे क्या करती है 'उन दिनों' में, उन्हें क्या तकलीफ होती है?
नहीं हम सब अपनी सुविधा से अपने दायरे खोज लेते हैं, अपने विषय, अपने विचार क्षेत्र का चयन कर लेते हैं.. शेष हमारी नहीं किसी और की जवाबदेही है..जब तक हर सवाल हमारा है, हर समस्या हमारी है, हर जवाब मुझे खोजना है हर समाधान मुझसे आएगा कि सोच आगे नहीं बढ़ेगी .. हम फिर कुछ नहीं कर सकेंगे.. सिवाय 'एक दिन' को यूं ही बीता देने के....'काश' कि कोई 'अवकाश' तो ऐसा हो जब हमारे सामने हमारा ही 'पर्दाफाश' हो...
फिर पूछकर देखिए अपने आप से कि जिसकी गोद में हम सोते हैं..उसके लिए कब सोचते हैं? : स्मृति आदित्य
