अब एलईडी बल्ब पर भी स्टार रेटिंग अनिवार्य
नई दिल्ली। बड़े पैमाने पर घरों एवं अन्य जगहों पर उपयोग हो रहे एलईडी लैंप अब ऊर्जा दक्षता ब्यूरो के बिजली बचत का कार्यक्रम ‘स्टार लेबलिंग’ के अंतर्गत अनिवार्य श्रेणी में आ गया है। इस साल एक जनवरी से कंपनियों को अब एलईडी लैंप पर बिजली बचत के सितारों का उपयोग करना अनिवार्य हो गया है। इस पहल से घरों एवं अन्य जगहों पर उपयोग हो रहे एलईडी बल्ब की गुणवत्ता सुनिश्चित हो सकेगी। इस संदर्भ में बिजली मंत्रालय ने दिसंबर के अंतिम सप्ताह में अधिसूचना जारी कर दी है।
ऊर्जा दक्षता ब्यूरो (बीईई) के एक वरिष्ठ अधिकारी ने कहा कि एक जनवरी से एलईडी लैंप पर स्टार लेबलिंग अनिवार्य हो गया है। बिजली मंत्रालय ने इस संदर्भ में अधिसूचना जारी कर दी है। स्टार लेबलिंग यानी स्टैंन्डर्ड एंड लेबलिंग कार्यक्रम बिजली मंत्रालय के अधीन आने वाले ऊर्जा दक्षता ब्यूरो (बीईई) का ऊर्जा संरक्षण का एक प्रमुख कार्यक्रम है। इसके तहत उत्पादों पर एक से लेकर पांच तक सितारें यानी स्टार दिये जाते हैं। स्टार की संख्या जैसे-जैसे बढ़ती है, वह उत्पाद उतना ही कम बिजली की खपत करता है। अब तक एलईडी लैंप स्टार रेटिंग कार्यक्रम के अंतर्गत स्वैच्छिक श्रेणी में था।
सरकार के उजाला कार्यक्रम के तहत अबतक लगभग 27 करोड़ एलईडी बल्ब बांटे जा चुके हैं। इस योजना के अंतर्गत मार्च 2019 तक 77 करोड़ एलईडी बल्ब वितरण का लक्ष्य रखा गया है। ऐसे में ऊर्जा दक्षता ब्यूरो यह सुनिश्चित करना चाहता है कि ग्राहकों को केवल गुणवत्तापूर्ण उत्पाद ही मिले। उसी कड़ी में यह कदम उठाया गया है।
अभी स्टार रेटिंग कार्यक्रम के अंतर्गत कमरों में उपयोग होने वाले एसी, फ्रोस्ट फ्री रेफ्रिजरेटर, ट्यूबललाइट (ट्यूबलर फ्लोरेसेंट लैंप), रंगीन टीवी, इलेक्ट्रिक गीजर, इनवर्टर एसी जैसे नौ उत्पाद अनिवार्य श्रेणी में हैं। वहीं पंखे, एलपीजी स्टोव, वाशिंग मशीन, कंप्यूटर (नोटबुक, लैपटाप) जैसे 12 उत्पाद स्वैच्छिक श्रेणी में हैं।
बीईई की वेबसाइट के अनुसार इस प्रमुख योजना से वित्त वर्ष 2017-18 में अब तक 3.43 अरब यूनिट की बचत हुई है। वित्त वर्ष 2011-12 से लेकर अब तक इस कार्यक्रम से 99.41 अरब यूनिट बिजली की बचाई जा सकी है। (भाषा)
