श्रीनगर। रक्षा मंत्री राजनाथ सिंह ने जम्मू कश्मीर के केरन सेक्टर में नियंत्रण रेखा (एलओसी) के निकट एक अहम अग्रिम चौकी का शनिवार को दौरा किया।
रक्षा मंत्री के साथ प्रमुख रक्षा अध्यक्ष जनरल बिपिन रावत और सेना प्रमुख जनरल एम एम नरवणे नॉर्थ हिल चौकी पहुंचे जहां वरिष्ठ अधिकारियों ने सीमा पर हालात के संबंध में उन्हें जानकारी दी।
सिंह ने सैनिकों के साथ बातचीत की तस्वीर पोस्ट करते हुए ट्वीट किया, 'जम्मू कश्मीर के कुपवाड़ा में एलओसी के निकट एक अग्रिम चौकी का आज दौरा किया और वहां तैनात सैनिकों से बातचीत की। हमें हर हालात में देश की रक्षा करने वाले इन बहादुर और जाबांज सैनिकों पर गर्व है।'
इससे पहले रक्षा मंत्री ने सुबह अमरनाथ गुफा मंदिर में जाकर पूजा अर्चना की थी। उन्होंने जम्मू कश्मीर के दौरे के दूसरे दिन अमरनाथ गुफा के दर्शन किए।
