नई दिल्ली। चुनाव आयोग ने गिरिडीह में कांग्रेस के पूर्व अध्यक्ष राहुल गांधी के ‘रेप इन इंडिया’ संबंधी बयान को लेकर झारखंड के मुख्य चुनाव अधिकारी से रिपोर्ट मांगी है। आयोग के सूत्रों ने बताया कि राहुल गांधी के इस बयान को लेकर केंद्रीय महिला अधिकारिता एवं बाल कल्याण मंत्री स्मृति ईरानी ने चुनाव आयोग से शिकायत की थी।

उस शिकायत के मद्देनजर झारखंड के मुख्य चुनाव अधिकारी से रिपोर्ट मांगी गई है। रिपोर्ट मिलने के बाद ही आयोग इस बारे में कोई निर्णय लेने की स्थिति में होगा। सूत्रों का यह भी कहना है कि अभी राहुल गांधी से कोई जवाब नही मांगा गया है। इसलिए यह कहना गलत है कि उन्हें किसी प्रकार का नोटिस भेजा गया है।
किया दादी का अपमान : मुंबई में भाजपा के वरिष्ठ नेता शाहनवाज हुसैन ने कहा कि कांग्रेस नेता राहुल गांधी ने वीर सावरकर पर टिप्पणी कर अपनी दादी एवं दिवंगत प्रधानमंत्री इंदिरा गांधी का ‘अपमान’ किया। भाजपा नेता ने मुंबई भाजपा का उपनगर बोरीवली से मार्च समाप्त होने पर दादर के शिवाजी पार्क में सावरकर स्मारक पर कहा कि अगर राहुल गांधी माफी भी मांगना चाहें तो भी देश उनकी टिप्पणियों के लिए उन्हें कभी माफ नहीं करेगा।

चुनावी सभा में की थी टिप्पणी : राहुल गांधी ने झारखंड में चुनावी सभा में मोदी सरकार के कार्यकाल में बलात्कार की घटनाओं पर गहरी चिंता जताते हुए कहा था कि ‘मेक इन इंडिया’ अब ‘रेप इन इंडिया’ हो गया है। उनके इस बयान को लेकर लोकसभा में ईरानी ने काफी हंगामा किया और इसे महिलाविरोधी बताया एवं राजनीति से प्रेरित करार देते हुए चुनाव आयोग से शिकायत की थी। गांधी ने गत दिनों रामलीला मैदान में अपनी पार्टी की रैली में कहा था कि वे मर जाएंगे, लेकिन माफी नहीं मांगेंगे।
