मध्यप्रदेश में 8 लोकसभा सीटों पर 75.51 प्रतिशत मतदान, 3 लोगों की मौत

भोपाल। लोकसभा चुनाव 2019 के सातवें और अंतिम चरण में रविवार को मध्यप्रदेश की आठ लोकसभा सीटों पर कुल 75.51 प्रतिशत मतदान हुआ, जो वर्ष 2014 के लोकसभा चुनाव में इन 8 सीटों पर हुए कुल मतदान की तुलना में 8.51 प्रतिशत अधिक है।

यह रात 10 बजे का आंकड़ा है और अंतिम आंकड़ा देर रात या कल सुबह तक मिलने की उम्मीद है। मतदान के दौरान 58 वर्षीय एक महिला मतदाता की दिल का दौरा पड़ने से मौत हो गई। इसके अलावा मतदान में ड्यूटी पर तैनात एक पीठासीन अधिकारी सहित दो कर्मचारियों की दिल का दौरा पड़ने से मृत्यु हो गई।

इंदौर में लोकसभा अध्यक्ष और 8 बार सांसद रहीं श्रीमती सुमित्रा महाजन ने अपने परिवार के साथ मतदान किया। 37 नेत्रहीन लड़कियों ने भी अपने मताधिकार का उपयोग किया।

इंदौर में मतदान को लेकर कितना उत्साह था, इसकी झलक यहीं से मिलती है कि एक व्यक्ति जिसके दोनों हाथ नहीं थे, वह भी मतदान करने पहुंचा और अपने पैर के अंगूठे पर अमिट स्याही लगवाने के बाद मतदान किया।

मध्यप्रदेश में सभी जगह पर मतदान शांतिपूर्ण रहा। कहीं से भी कोई अप्रिय घटना होने की खबर नहीं है। निर्वाचन आयोग के एक अधिकारी ने कहा, ‘मध्यप्रदेश की 8 लोकसभा सीटों- देवास, उज्जैन, मंदसौर, रतलाम, धार, इन्दौर, खरगोन और खंडवा के लिए कुल 75.51 प्रतिशत मतदान हुआ। यह रात 10 बजे तक का आंकड़ा है।’

उन्होंने कहा कि वर्ष 2014 के पिछले लोकसभा चुनाव में इन 8 सीटों पर कुल 67 प्रतिशत मतदान हुआ था। इस प्रकार इस चुनाव में इन सीटों पर पिछले लोकसभा चुनाव से 8.51 प्रतिशत अधिक मतदान हुआ है। सबसे अधिक मतदान देवास लोकसभा सीट पर 79.46 प्रतिशत रहा, जबकि सबसे कम मतदान इन्दौर लोकसभा सीट पर 69.56 प्रतिशत रहा।

उन्होंने कहा कि रात 10 बजे तक मिली जानकारी के अनुसार देवास में 79.46 प्रतिशत, उज्जैन में 74.93 प्रतिशत, मंदसौर में 77.74 प्रतिशत, रतलाम में 75.19 प्रतिशत, धार में 74.74 प्रतिशत, इन्दौर में 69.56 प्रतिशत, खरगोन में 77.51 प्रतिशत और खंडवा में 76.80 प्रतिशत मतदान हुआ है। प्रदेश में इससे पहले हुए 3 चरणों में औसत 69.26 प्रतिशत मतदान दर्ज किया गया था।

मध्यप्रदेश के मुख्य निर्वाचन अधिकारी (सीईओ) वी एल कांता राव ने बताया कि रतलाम-झाबुआ लोकसभा सीट के सैलाना विधानसभा क्षेत्र के एक मतदान केन्द्र पर 58 वर्षीय महिला गेंदाबाई की मतदान के लिए कतार में खड़े रहने के दौरान दिल का दौरा पड़ने से मौत हो गई।

उन्होंने बताया कि सुबह मतदान शुरू होने के बाद 6 जगह मतदान के बहिष्कार की सूचना प्राप्त हुई थी। इस पर तुरंत कार्रवाई करते हुए संबंधित लोगों को समझाकर मतदान कराया गया।

उन्होंने बताया कि इनमें से केवल एक जगह मंदसौर लोकसभा सीट के सुवासरा विधानसभा क्षेत्र के मतदान केन्द्र पर शाम 4 बजे तक केवल 4 मत डाले गए जबकि यहां कुल 646 मतदाता हैं।

राव ने बताया कि संसदीय क्षेत्र देवास के अंतर्गत शाजापुर विधानसभा क्षेत्र के मतदान केन्द्र 262 के पीठासीन अधिकारी अनिल नेमा की शनिवार रात मतदान केन्द्र पर दिल का दौरा पड़ने से मृत्यु हो गई।

उन्होंने बताया कि इनके अलावा, संसदीय क्षेत्र धार के अंतर्गत कुक्षी विधानसभा क्षेत्र के मतदान केन्द्र 170-जलवट में बीएलओ गारू सिंह चोगड़ की भी रविवार सुबह दिल का दौरा पड़ने से मृत्यु हो गई। उनकी ड्यूटी रविवार को मतदान केन्द्र की व्यवस्थाओं को लेकर लगाई गई थी।
