मैच प्रिव्यू: 'कोहली बनाम मॉर्गन' एलिमिनेटर को जीत क्वालिफायर 2 में पहुंचने की जंग
शारजाह:अपने पहले खिताब की कवायद में लगा रॉयल चैलेंजर्स बेंगलोर (आरसीबी) सोमवार को इंडियन प्रीमियर लीग (आईपीएल) एलिमिनेटर में जब पूर्व चैंपियन कोलकाता नाइट राइडर्स (केकेआर) का सामना करेगा तो विराट कोहली के रणनीतिक कौशल और इयोन मोर्गन के धैर्य की भी कड़ी परीक्षा होगी। इस मैच की विजेता टीम का सामना दिल्ली कैपिटल्स से होगा जो क्वालिफायर 2 होगा।
इस सत्र के बाद कप्तानी छोड़ने का फैसला कर चुके कोहली की अगुवाई में आरसीबी 2016 में फाइनल में पहुंचा था। इसके अलावा उनके नेतृत्व में टीम 2015 और 2020 में भी प्लेऑफ में पहुंची थी और अब कोहली खिताब के साथ कप्तानी से शानदार विदाई लेना चाहेंगे।
मोर्गन के सामने केकेआर की खोयी प्रतिष्ठा फिर से हासिल करने की चुनौती है। टीम ने 2012 से 2014 के बीच तीन साल के अंदर गौतम गंभीर की अगुवाई में दो बार खिताब जीता था।

आरसीबी की टीम हालांकि अपने अंतिम लीग मैच में दिल्ली कैपिटल्स के खिलाफ आखिरी गेंद पर छक्के से जीत दर्ज करने के बाद आत्मविश्वास से भरी है। वह 14 मैचों में 18 जीत से अंक तालिका में तीसरे स्थान पर रही।
केकेआर ने दूसरी तरफ पहले चरण के लचर प्रदर्शन के बाद यूएई चरण में सात में से पांच मैच जीते और 14 अंकों के साथ चौथा स्थान हासिल किया।
मोर्गन की टीम ने राजस्थान रॉयल्स के खिलाफ 86 रन की बड़ी जीत से प्लेऑफ में जगह पक्की की और वह आगे भी अपनी इस लय को बरकरार रखने की कोशिश करेगी।
लेकिन मैदान पर पिछले रिकार्ड अधिक मायने नहीं रखेंगे और मैच में महत्वपूर्ण मौकों पर अच्छा प्रदर्शन करने वाली टीम जीत दर्ज करेगी। यह बात कोहली और मोर्गन दोनों अच्छी तरह से जानते हैं। दोनों कप्तानों के पास अच्छे कुशल खिलाड़ी हैं।
आरसीबी में कोहली के अलावा एबी डिविलियर्स, ग्लेन मैक्सवेल और देवदत्त पडिक्कल के रूप में दमदार बल्लेबाज हैं। श्रीकर भरत का अच्छा प्रदर्शन टीम के लिये सकारात्मक संकेत हैं लेकिन टीम को उचित संयोजन तलाशने की जरूरत है जिसमें वह अभी तक नाकाम रही है।
विकेटकीपर बल्लेबाज भरत ने आरसीबी के पिछले मैच में 52 गेंदों पर नाबाद 78 रन बनाये और आखिरी गेंद पर विजयी छक्का लगाया। आरसीबी की तरफ से मैक्सवेल ने हालांकि अहम भूमिका निभायी है। इस आस्ट्रेलियाई बल्लेबाज ने इस सत्र में 498 रन बनाये हैं। कोहली को हालांकि बड़ी पारी खेलने की जरूरत है।
गेंदबाजी में हर्षल पटेल ने सनसनीखेज प्रदर्शन किया है। उन्होंने 14 मैचों में 30 विकेट लिये जिसमें मुंबई इंडियन्स के खिलाफ हैट्रिक भी शामिल है। मोहम्मद सिराज और जॉर्ज गार्टन प्रभावशाली रहे हैं जबकि युजवेंद्र चहल ने 16 विकेट लेकर अपने आलोचकों को करारा जवाब दिया है।
केकेआर की तरफ से भी गेंदबाजों ने अच्छी भूमिका निभायी है। लॉकी फर्गुसन और शिवम मावी सही समय में फॉर्म में लौटे हैं जबकि स्पिनर वरुण चक्रवर्ती, सुनील नारायण और शाकिब अल हसन प्रभावशाली रहे हैं।
बल्लेबाजी में शुभमन गिल, वेंकटेश अय्यर, राहुल त्रिपाठी और नितीश राणा ने अच्छा प्रदर्शन किया है और देखना होगा कि वे शारजाह की धीमी पिच पर पटेल और चहल का कैसे सामना करते हैं। कप्तान मोर्गन की खराब फॉर्म टीम के लिये चिंता का विषय है।(भाषा)
