कहते हैं कि अच्छी और बुरी दोनों तरह की आत्माएं होती हैं। अच्छी आत्मा अच्छा करती है तो बुरी आत्माओं से व्यक्ति छुटकारा पाना चाहता है। सुनते आए हैं कि कुछ लोग भूत-प्रेत से ग्रस्त रहते हैं तो किसी के घर में भूत है जो परिवार के सभी सदस्यों को परेशान करता रहता है। जिन लोगों के पास आध्यात्मिक शक्ति होती है उनके पास भूत-प्रेत फटकते तक नहीं है।
इस विश्वास या अंधविश्वास के चलते बहुत से लोग भूत भगाने का दावा करते हैं तो कुछ लोग भूत बुलाने का। इस प्रचलन के बीच पिछले कुछ वर्षों से आत्मा बुलाने के नए-नए तरीके इजाद हो गए हैं। उन तरीकों का इस्तेमाल करके कुछ लोगों ने तो मुसिबत मोल ले ली है और कुछ के दावे अनुसार उन्होंने अपनी समस्याओं का हल कर लिया है। आओ जानते हैं ऐसे ही कुछ प्रचलित तरीके के बारे में। हालांकि यहां यह दावा नहीं किया जाता है कि यह तरीके यह सही हैं।
आत्म को बुलाने की विद्या को आजकल प्लेनचिट कहा जाता है। यह आत्माओं को बुलाने का विज्ञान है। प्राचीन काल से ही यह कार्य किया जाता रहा है। कुछ आत्माएं जिन्हें शांति प्राप्त नहीं हुई है, वे प्लेनचिट के माध्यम से आपको भूत, भविष्य एवं वर्तमान तीनों कालों की जानकारी दे सकती हैं। आप उनसे अपनी परेशानी का हल प्राप्त कर सकते हैं। हालांकि इसमें खतरे बहुत है।
चेतावनी : यह आस्था और अंधविश्वास का मामला है। यह महज मनोरंज भी हो सकता है और हो सकता है कि यह आपके लिए खतरनाक सिद्ध हो। कहते हैं कि बुलाना आसान है पर भेजना मुश्किल होता है। कई बार बुलाई गई आत्मा वापस नहीं जाती है। माना जाता है कि वापस नहीं जाने वाली आत्माएं आपके जीवन में होनी और अनहोनी घटनाओं को अंजाम देने लगती है।

उइजा बोर्ड कैसे बनाएं: एक लकड़ी के बोड पर एक तरफ अंग्रेजी या हिन्दी के अक्क्षर लिख लें और दूसरी तरफ अंक लिख लें। ऊपर हां और ना लिख दें। बीच में एक गोला बनाएं और उस पर एक कटोरी को उल्टा रख लें। फिर कमरे के किसी कोने में अगरबत्ती जला लें। फिर तीन या पांच लोग मिलकर उस कटोरी पर अपनी अंगुली रखकर किसी आत्मा का आह्वान करें। जब आत्मा आ जाती है यह कटोरी अपने आप ही चलने लगती है। जो भी पूछा जाता है कटोरी धीरे-धीरे चलकर अंक या अक्षरों पर पहुंचकर जबाब देती है। जैसे उससे उसका नाम पूछा गया तो वह कटोरी चलकर अंग्रेजी या हिन्दी में लिखे अक्षरों को ढांकती जाएगी। जैसे रावण है तो पहले वह R पर, फिर A पर फिर V पर फिर A पर और अंत में N पर जाएगी।

यदि टेबल के नीचे गुटका रखा है तो अपने आप टेबल के पाए खटखटाने लग जाते हैं। इसका मतलब है कि आत्मा का आगमन हो चुका है। इसके बाद उनसे प्रश्न किया जाता है और संकेतिक तौर पर टेबल की खटखट से हर प्रश्न मिलने लगता है।

प्लेनचिट बोर्ड : एक तीसरा तरीका है प्लेनचिट बोर्ड का। दिल के आकार का दिखने वाला लकड़ी का यह टुकड़ा आत्मा को बुलाने का नया तरीका है। इसमें पीछे की ओर सभी ओर घूमने वाले पहिए लगे होते हैं। इसकी नोक की तरफ एक छेद होता है जिसमें एक पेंसिल लगा दी जाती है।
मेज पर एक सादा कागज रखकर उसके ऊपर इस यंत्र को रखा जाता है। इसके बाद जिस आत्मा को बुलाना होता है उसका आह्वान किया जाता है। जैसे ही आत्मा आती है यह यंत्र अपने आप चलने लगता है। यंत्र में लगे पेंसिल से आत्मा पूछे गए प्रश्नों के उत्तर देने लगती है। इसे प्लेनचिट कहते हैं।

किसी को माध्यम बनाएं : अक्सर हम ग्रामिण इलाकों में सुनते या देखते हैं कि किसी व्यक्ति के शरीर में देवी या देवता आता है। वह हिलने लगता है और फिर देवी या देवता इस व्यक्ति के शरीर के माध्यम से लोगों से जुड़कर उनकी समस्या का समाधान करते हैं। इसी तरह कोई आत्मा भी किसी व्यक्ति को अपना माध्यम बनाकर उसके शरीर में प्रवेश कर बातें कर सकती है।
किसी भी आत्मा का माध्यम ऐसा ही व्यक्ति बन सकता है जिसमें समर्पण भाव और संवेदनशीलता हो। ऐसा व्यक्ति आंख बंदकर कुछ देर तक आत्मा का आह्वान करता है और फिर आत्मा माध्यम के शरीर में प्रवेश करके संवाद करने लगती है। ऐसे में माध्यम की आवाज और उसका व्यवहार बदल जाता है।

खुद बनें माध्यम : एक तरीका यह है कि प्रयोगकर्ता खुद ही आत्मा का माध्यम बन सकता है। इसके लिए वह पहले एक टेबल लगी कुर्सी पर बैठ जाए। टेबल पर एक कोरी शिट रख ले और फिर वह हाथ में एक पेंसिल हल्के से पकड़कर रखे। इसके बाद वह आत्मा का आह्वान करें।
कुछ देर बाद ही उसके हाथ पर भारीपन लगने लगेगा और पेंसिल हिलने लगेगी। हाथ में रखी पेंसिल खुद ही कागज पर चलनी शुरू हो जाएगी और लिखित या कहे गए प्रश्नों के उत्तर देने लगेगी है।

अन्य तरीके : इसके अलावा कुछ लोग दर्पण के सामने खड़े हो जाते हैं जहां उसे आत्मा दिखाई देने लगगी है। कुछ तांत्रिक कांसे की थाल में, मिट्टी की हांडी में, कांच के गिलास में, आईने में, तो कुछ मोमबती, दीपक, तेल और अनाज के ऊपर आत्माओं को बुलाते हैं। ऐसे कई और भी तरीके हैं जिस पर आत्माओं को बुलाया जाता है।
