एनीमिया क्या है, लक्षण, कारण, उपचार और रोकथाम
एनीमिया का अर्थ है, शरीर में खून की कमी। हमारे शरीर में हिमोग्लोबिन एक ऐसा तत्व है जो शरीर में खून की मात्रा बताता है। पुरुषों में इसकी मात्रा 12 से 16 प्रतिशत तथा महिलाओं में 11 से 14 के बीच होना चाहिए। आइए पढ़ें खास बातें...
* एनीमिया का अर्थ है- शरीर में खून की कमी होना।
* यह तब होता है, जब शरीर के रक्त में लाल कणों या कोशिकाओं के नष्ट होने की दर, उनके निर्माण की दर से अधिक होती है।
* किशोरावस्था और रजोनिवृत्ति के बीच की आयु में एनीमिया सबसे अधिक होता है।
* भारत में 80 प्रतिशत से अधिक गर्भवती महिलाएं एनीमिया से पीड़ित हैं।
* गर्भवती महिलाओं को बढ़ते शिशु के लिए भी रक्त निर्माण करना पड़ता है। इसलिए गर्भवती महिलाओं को एनीमिया होने की संभावना होती है।
* एनीमिया एक गंभीर बीमारी है। इसके कारण महिलाओं को अन्य बीमारियां होने की संभावना और बढ़ जाती है।
* एनीमिया से पीड़ित महिलाओं की प्रसव के दौरान मरने की संभावना सबसे अधिक होती है।
लक्षण
* त्वचा का सफेद दिखना।
* जीभ, नाखूनों एवं पलकों के अंदर सफेदी।
* कमजोरी एवं बहुत अधिक थकावट।
* चक्कर आना- विशेषकर लेटकर एवं बैठकर उठने में।
* बेहोश होना।
* सांस फूलना।
* हृदयगति का तेज होना।
* चेहरे एवं पैरों पर सूजन दिखाई देना।
कारण
* सबसे प्रमुख कारण लौह तत्व वाली चीजों का उचित मात्रा में सेवन न करना।
* मलेरिया के बाद जिससे लाल रक्त करण नष्ट हो जाते हैं।
* किसी भी कारण रक्त में कमी, जैसे-
-शरीर से खून निकलना (दुर्घटना, चोट, घाव आदि में अधिक खून बहना)
- शौच, उल्टी, खांसी के साथ खून का बहना।
- माहवारी में अधिक मात्रा में खून जाना।
* पेट के कीड़ों व परजीवियों के कारण खूनी दस्त लगना।
* पेट के अल्सर से खून जाना।
* बार-बार गर्भ धारण करना।
उपचार तथा रोकथाम
* अगर एनीमिया मलेरिया या परजीवी कीड़ों के कारण है, तो पहले उनका इलाज करें।
* लौह तत्वयुक्त चीजों का सेवन करें।
* विटामिन 'ए' एवं 'सी' युक्त खाद्य पदार्थ खाएं।
* गर्भवती महिलाओं एवं किशोरी लड़कियों को नियमित रूप से 100 दिन तक लौह तत्व व फॉलिक एसिड की 1 गोली रोज रात को खाने खाने के बाद लेनी चाहिए।
* जल्दी-जल्दी गर्भधारण से बचना चाहिए।
* भोजन के बाद चाय के सेवन से बचें, क्योंकि चाय भोजन से मिलने वाले जरूरी पोषक तत्वों को नष्ट करती है।
* काली चाय एवं कॉफी पीने से बचें।
* संक्रमण से बचने के लिए स्वच्छ पेयजल ही इस्तेमाल करें।
* स्वच्छ शौचालय का प्रयोग करें।
* यदि आपके क्षेत्र में हुकवर्म काफी मात्रा में है तो नंगे पैर खेतों/ जमीन पर न चलें।
* खाना लोहे की कड़ाही में पकाएं।
फोलिक एसिड
* शरीर में स्वस्थ लाल रक्त कण बनाने के लिए फोलिक एसिड की आवश्यकता होती है। फोलिक एसिड की कमी से एनीमिया की बीमारी होती है।
फोलिक एसिड
* गहरे हरे रंग की पत्तेदार सब्जियां।
* मूंगफली।
* अंडे।
* कुकुरमुत्ता (मशरूम)। * मटर व फलियां। * चोकर वाला आटा। * आलू।
* दालें। * सूखे मेवे। * मछली। * मांस। * बाजरा। * गुड़। * गोभी। * गोभी। * शलजम। * अनानास।
विटामिन 'ए' के स्रोत
* विटामिन 'ए' संक्रमण से शरीर की रक्षा करता है।
* गहरे पीले फल एवं हरे रंग की पत्तेदार सब्जियां तथा खट्टे फल विटामिन 'ए' के स्रोत हैं।
* मूली, गाजर, टमाटर, शलजम, खीरा जैसी कच्ची सब्जियां प्रतिदिन खानी चाहिए।
* अंकुरित दालों व अनाजों का नियमित प्रयोग करें।
