कोरोना संक्रमण ने जिंदगी के हर पहलू पर असर डाला। इसने कविता और कहानी से लेकर कवि और लेखक के
रचनाकर्म को भी प्रभावित किया, वहीं किताबों की छपाई से लेकर उनके वितरण पर भी असर हुआ, हालांकि वहीं दूसरी तरफ इस काल को साहित्य के लिहाज से कहीं न कहीं फायदेमंद ही माना गया।

‘नई किताब’ का सुख नहीं मिला
कवि, लेखक और भारत भवन भोपाल के प्रशासनिक अधिकारी प्रेमशंकर शुक्ल प्रकाशन हाउस और छपाई कारखानों में काम करने वाले एक पूरे वर्ग के प्रति संवेदनशील नजर आए। वे अपनी कविता को लेकर भी बेहद संवेदनशील हैं, उनका कहना था--
कई दिनों तक छपाई बंद रही। मशीन ऑपरेटर से लेकर वाइंडर, कटिंग करने वाले, किताबों के कवर बनाने वाले, प्रूफ रीडर, कंपोजर आदि लोग बेहद प्रभावित रहे। उनका रोजगार मारा गया। इतना ही नहीं, कई किताबों की छपाई देरी से हो सकी, इस वजह से वितरण में भी देरी हुई।
उन्होंने बताया कि जहां तक पढ़ने का सवाल है तो किताबें मोबाइल और किंडल पर पढ़ी गईं। हमने कविताओं की किताबों के साथ ही कला और संगीत की किताबें इसी तरह पढ़ी। ऐसे में नई किताबें पढ़ने का सुख नहीं मिल सका।

साहित्य ने आपदा में अवसर तलाशा
कई किताबों लिख चुकीं लेखिका गीताश्री इस काल को कुछ अलग और सकारात्मक तौर पर देखती और समझती हैं। वे कोरोना काल में बेहद सक्रिय भी रहीं। इस दौरान भी उनकी किताबें भी आती रहीं। वे कहती हैं--
कोरोना काल में किताबें छपी हैं। शुरुआती दौर में सन्नाटा था। उत्तरार्द्ध में किताबें छपने लगीं। लेकिन जितनी छपनी चाहिए, उतनी नहीं। साल के आख़िरी दौर में हैं हम। अब प्रकाशन जगत ने फिर से रफ़्तार पकड़ी है। जनवरी में बुक फ़ेयर के समय किताबें छपीं। सितंबर के बाद से फिर किताबें आने लगी हैं।
कोरोना काल में ऑनलाइन किताबें बिकी भी खूब। उनकी बिक्री के आंकड़े बयान करते हैं। सोशल मीडिया पर प्रचार-प्रसार का असर देखा गया। कोरोना काल में ऑनलाइन ख़ूब पढ़ा गया, डिजीटल युग है। ऑडियो बुक रिलीज़ हुए। साहित्य जगत के लाइव सेशन, सेमिनार बहुत हुए। इतने कभी नहीं हुए।
वे आगे कहती हैं— आज तक लाइव का दौर क़ायम है। पुरानी किताबों के दिन फिरे। उन पर चर्चा हुई। साहित्यिक मुद्दों पर सत्र आयोजित हुए। कई नए आयडिया पर सबने काम किया। स्त्री दर्पण नामक मंच ने लेखिकाओं के जन्मोत्सव मनाए। इसमें लेखिकाओं ने हिस्सा लिया। कई सुप्त साहित्यिक मंच सक्रिय हो उठे। जिनका नाम तक किसी को पहले नहीं पता. कुछ। नए मंच बने। उन पर लगातार लाइव। प्रकाशन जगत ने भी लाइव गोष्ठियां आयोजित कीं। सोशल मीडिया पर साहित्य छाया रहा।
सब अपने घरों में बंद, लाइव के ज़रिये जुड़े हुए थे। बड़े लेखकों को लाइव सुनने का सुअवसर मिला। युवाओं को भी सुना गया। सारी पीढ़ियां लाइव में सक्रिय थीं। जब घरों में बंद थे, लॉकडाउन में, वे पढ़ रहे थे, लिख रहे थे या कुकिंग सीख रहे थे। अपनी अपनी अभिरुचि के अनुसार लोग जी रहे थे इस आपदा समय को। कोरोना काल पर भी रचनाएं आईं। किताबें आईं। कई लेखकों को एकांत मिला, उन्होंने किताब लिखी, कहानियां लिखीं। ये सब एक दूसरे नजरिये से अच्छा ही था।

लेखिका और कवयित्री रश्मि भारद्वाज फेसबुक और अन्य सोशल मीडिया माध्यमों पर अपने रचनाकर्म को लेकर लगातार सक्रिय रहीं, इस भयावह चुप्पी में भी वो संवाद करती रहीं। साहित्य पर असर को लेकर वे कहती हैं—

वे आगे जोडती हैं---यह आश्चर्यजनक रहा कि इस विकट समय ने हिंदी पाठकों की संख्या में बढ़ोतरी की। लोगों ने खाली समय का सदुपयोग साहित्यिक लाइव सुनने और डिजिटल किताबें,ब्लॉग आदि पढ़ने में किया। लाइव कार्यक्रम अपनी उपयोगिता को लेकर विवादास्पद भी रहे, लेकिन यह कहना ही होगा कि इन्होंने हिंदी साहित्य के परिदृश्य को जीवंत रखा और लोग भी अपनी बेचैनी, असुरक्षा, भय को इस कारण से बहुत हद तक भूलते रहे। ऑनलाइन सेल खुलने के बाद किताबों की बिक्री फिर बढ़ी।
बड़े मंचों की ज़रूरत कम हुई और युवाओं ने फेसबुक पेज़, ब्लॉग आदि आरम्भ कर निरन्तर साहित्यिक गतिविधियां बनाए रखीं। जानकीपुल, हिंदीनामा, रचियता, स्त्रीकाल, हिन्दगी, समन्वय स्पेस, स्त्री दर्पण, जनसुलभ पुस्तकालय, आलोचना, चिंतन साहित्यिक संस्था, इन दिनों मेरी किताब, पोएट्री जंक्शन आदि कई ऑनलाइन मंचों ने अपनी निरन्तर सकारात्मक भागेदारी द्वारा इस समय को रेखांकित किया और नए पाठक जोड़े।

साहित्य अगर साहित्य है, तो वह कहीं भी बचा रहेगा
कवि और लेखक अविनाश मिश्र सोशल मीडिया के महत्व और उसके इस्तेमाल को लेकर बेहद ही विस्तार से अपनी राय रखते हैं,
वे कहते हैं--- डिजिटल प्लेटफ़ॉर्म्स का महत्त्व कोविड-काल से पहले भी था, बल्कि यों भी महसूस किया गया कि यह महत्त्व प्रिंट में आने वाली पत्रिकाओं से अधिक ही था/ है। इस बीच कोविड ने जैसे सब जगह सब माध्यमों को प्रभावित किया, वैसे ही प्रिंट-पत्रिकाओं को भी। यह प्रभाव इसलिए और भी अधिक विकराल हो गया कि हिंदी की लगभग सभी प्रिंट-पत्रिकाओं की अपनी रनिंग वेबसाइट्स/ब्लॉग्स/सोशल मीडिया प्लेटफ़ॉर्म्स नहीं हैं। यह करना उनकी प्राथमिकताओं में रहा नहीं है और यह दुखद है कि अब तलक नहीं है। वे लगभग न सीखने की सौगंध लेकर ही काम करते आए हैं और कर रहे हैं। इसमें मैं एक पिछड़ापन और जड़ता देखता हूं।
डिजिटल माध्यमों को लेकर बहुत नाक-भौंह सिकोड़ने के बावजूद हिंदी साहित्यकारों और बौद्धिकों के बीच इसे लेकर पर्याप्त गंभीरता रही है। यह अलग बात है कि वे शुरू से ही इस बात का दिखावा करते आए हैं, कि वे इन माध्यमों को लेकर सहज और सीरियस नहीं हैं। लेकिन अब यह दिखावा व्यर्थ है और इसलिए तार-तार है।
इस बीच जहां तक साहित्यकारों और बौद्धिकों की डिजिटल उपस्थिति का प्रश्न है, मार्च-2020 से हिंदी साहित्य और इसकी गंभीरता का, इसकी ज़रूरत और जगह का जितना नुक़सान फ़ेसबुक की लाइव सुविधा ने किया है, उतना आज तक किसी और माध्यम ने नहीं किया है। इसने हिंदी लेखक को पूरी तरह एक्सपोज़ करके उसे हास्याप्रद, दयनीय और प्रचार-पिपासु बना दिया है।
साहित्यिक गोष्ठियां, साहित्योत्सव और इस सदी में प्रकट हुए लिट्-फेस्ट भी ये करते आए हैं, लेकिन उनमें कम से कम लेखक को यात्रा, जीवंत सामाजिक संपर्क और मानदेय जैसे सुख तो मिलते रहे हैं; लेकिन फ़ेसबुक-इन्स्टाग्राम-लाइव और वेबिनारादि ने लेखकों-कलाकारों को लगभग मुफ़्त का माल बना दिया है। वे इतने खलिहर, सर्वसुलभ, सहज उपलब्ध हैं; इस वास्तविकता के उद्घाटन का श्रेय कोविड-काल, फ़ेसबुकादि की लाइव सुविधा, वेबिनारादि के साथ-साथ हिंदी साहित्य और संस्कृति-जगत की कोरोजीवी प्रतिभाओं को जाता है।
भारत में अभी भी ई-बुक, ऑडियो बुक से जुड़ी तकनीकी समस्याएं हैं... इस बात में फ़िलहाल सचाई है और इससे सहमत भी हुआ जा सकता है। लेकिन साहित्य अगर साहित्य है, तब वह कहीं पर भी आए टिका और बचा रहेगा। वह लोगों तक भले ही न पहुंचे, पर वे लोग जो सचमुच उस तक पहुंचना चाहते हैं; उस तक अंततः पहुंच ही जाएंगे।
इस दृश्य में स्मार्ट फ़ोन अब केवल मनोरंजन के लिए नहीं है। वह जीवन का एक अहम अंग है। लेकिन वह प्रिंट-पत्रिकाओं और पुस्तकों को नष्ट कर सके, वह इतना ताक़तवर फ़िलहाल नहीं है। वह प्रिंट के महत्त्व और प्रसार को कम कर सकता है तो बढ़ा भी सकता है। हमें इसका सही उपयोग सीखने की ज़रूरत है।

देखिए कोरोना ने हमें साहित्य सृजन के लिए अवकाश दिया, दरअसल, इसने लेखक और पाठक दोनों के एकांत को लोकेट किया, एक तरह से मौका दिया रचनाकर्म करने के लिए।
यह काल चिंताजनक तो था ही, मैं इस कोरोना काल को कोई श्रेय नहीं देता, लेकिन यह समय बहुत उर्वर भी था, विपत्तिकाल में ही सबसे अच्छी रचनाएं पैदा हुईं। अल्बेयर कामू ने अपना सर्वश्रेष्ठ युद्ध की छाया में लिखा था, गुलाम भारत में प्रेमचंद हुए, रेणू थे, अज्ञेय थे हमारे पास। तो इस समय में भी लोगों ने अपने स्व और समाज दोनों का सृजन किया है। देखिए, अभी गीत चतुर्वेदी की किताब ‘अधूरी चीजों का देवता’ कोराना में ही प्रकाशित हो रही है। इसके पहले भी हमने बहुत सी किताबें अपने पब्लिकेशन के माध्यम से लोगों तक पहुंचाई। ‘खुशियों के गुप्तचर’ उनमें से एक है।
हालांकि मैं कोरोना को श्रेय नहीं देना चाहता, लेकिन इस दौरान सृजन के लिए नई दृष्टि, नई रोशनी और नई ऊर्जा मिलती है। इसलिए आपदा का समय साहित्य सृजन के लिए उर्वर समय भी है। आगे भी देखने को मिलेगा कि जिन रचनाओं या कलाओं के बीच इस समय में रखे गए वो आगे चलकर सामने आएगीं।

साहित्य के लिए यह सुखद रहा
सूर्य प्रकाशन मंदिर बिकानेर के डॉ प्रशांत बिस्सा कहते हैं— मैं लॉकडाउन को सकारात्मक रूप में देखता हूं। इस दौरान ऑनलाइन बिक्री बढ़ी वो भी इतनी ज्यादा कि कई एडिशन तो खत्म हो गए। इस समय में किताबों की महत्ता बढ़ी है, पठन-पाठन बढ़ रहा है। मैं इस दौर को साहित्य के लिए कहीं न कहीं सुखद ही मानता हूं।
कोविड काल में ही हमने करीब 40 से 50 किताबें प्रकाशित कीं। हाल ही में हमने कवि प्रेमशंकर शुक्ल की दो किताबें प्रकाशित कीं। कई बड़े लेखक हमसे जुड़े हुए हैं। अशोक वाजपेयी, उदयन वाजपेयी, रमेशचंद शाह आदि कई बड़े लेखकों की किताबें हम प्रकाशित कर रहे हैं।
रचनाकर्म को भी प्रभावित किया, वहीं किताबों की छपाई से लेकर उनके वितरण पर भी असर हुआ, हालांकि वहीं दूसरी तरफ इस काल को साहित्य के लिहाज से कहीं न कहीं फायदेमंद ही माना गया।
वेबदुनिया ने अपनी इस विशेष रिपोर्ट में देशभर के कवि-लेखकों और प्रकाशकों से चर्चा कर जानना चाहा कि आखिर 2020 में क्या रहा उनका रचनाकर्म और वे इस संकट को कैसे देखते-समझते हैं।
कोरोना वायरस के संक्रमण ने जिंदगी के हर पहलू को प्रभावित किया है। ऐसे में साहित्य जगत भी इससे बच नहीं सका। पिछले दिनों न सिर्फ किताबों के प्रकाशन पर बल्कि पढ़ने-लिखने के अभ्यास से लेकर कवि और लेखक के मनोबल, उनकी आस्था और उनकी चेतना भी कहीं न कहीं प्रभावित हुई या उसे ठेस पहुंची। ऐसे में इस संकट के इस समय में एक ही सवाल उभरकर आया कि लेखक और कवियों ने कैसे अपने रचनाकर्म को अंजाम दिया? प्रकाशकों ने कैसे इससे पार पाया?

‘नई किताब’ का सुख नहीं मिला
कवि, लेखक और भारत भवन भोपाल के प्रशासनिक अधिकारी प्रेमशंकर शुक्ल प्रकाशन हाउस और छपाई कारखानों में काम करने वाले एक पूरे वर्ग के प्रति संवेदनशील नजर आए। वे अपनी कविता को लेकर भी बेहद संवेदनशील हैं, उनका कहना था--
उन्होंने बताया कि जहां तक पढ़ने का सवाल है तो किताबें मोबाइल और किंडल पर पढ़ी गईं। हमने कविताओं की किताबों के साथ ही कला और संगीत की किताबें इसी तरह पढ़ी। ऐसे में नई किताबें पढ़ने का सुख नहीं मिल सका।

साहित्य ने आपदा में अवसर तलाशा
कई किताबों लिख चुकीं लेखिका गीताश्री इस काल को कुछ अलग और सकारात्मक तौर पर देखती और समझती हैं। वे कोरोना काल में बेहद सक्रिय भी रहीं। इस दौरान भी उनकी किताबें भी आती रहीं। वे कहती हैं--
कोरोना काल में किताबें छपी हैं। शुरुआती दौर में सन्नाटा था। उत्तरार्द्ध में किताबें छपने लगीं। लेकिन जितनी छपनी चाहिए, उतनी नहीं। साल के आख़िरी दौर में हैं हम। अब प्रकाशन जगत ने फिर से रफ़्तार पकड़ी है। जनवरी में बुक फ़ेयर के समय किताबें छपीं। सितंबर के बाद से फिर किताबें आने लगी हैं।
वे आगे कहती हैं— आज तक लाइव का दौर क़ायम है। पुरानी किताबों के दिन फिरे। उन पर चर्चा हुई। साहित्यिक मुद्दों पर सत्र आयोजित हुए। कई नए आयडिया पर सबने काम किया। स्त्री दर्पण नामक मंच ने लेखिकाओं के जन्मोत्सव मनाए। इसमें लेखिकाओं ने हिस्सा लिया। कई सुप्त साहित्यिक मंच सक्रिय हो उठे। जिनका नाम तक किसी को पहले नहीं पता. कुछ। नए मंच बने। उन पर लगातार लाइव। प्रकाशन जगत ने भी लाइव गोष्ठियां आयोजित कीं। सोशल मीडिया पर साहित्य छाया रहा।
सब अपने घरों में बंद, लाइव के ज़रिये जुड़े हुए थे। बड़े लेखकों को लाइव सुनने का सुअवसर मिला। युवाओं को भी सुना गया। सारी पीढ़ियां लाइव में सक्रिय थीं। जब घरों में बंद थे, लॉकडाउन में, वे पढ़ रहे थे, लिख रहे थे या कुकिंग सीख रहे थे। अपनी अपनी अभिरुचि के अनुसार लोग जी रहे थे इस आपदा समय को। कोरोना काल पर भी रचनाएं आईं। किताबें आईं। कई लेखकों को एकांत मिला, उन्होंने किताब लिखी, कहानियां लिखीं। ये सब एक दूसरे नजरिये से अच्छा ही था।

किताबें, लेखनी सुकून खोजने के साधन बने
लेखिका और कवयित्री रश्मि भारद्वाज फेसबुक और अन्य सोशल मीडिया माध्यमों पर अपने रचनाकर्म को लेकर लगातार सक्रिय रहीं, इस भयावह चुप्पी में भी वो संवाद करती रहीं। साहित्य पर असर को लेकर वे कहती हैं—
याद नहीं पड़ता कि अब तक के जीवन में इतना भयावह समय कब देखा था! शायद मानव सभ्यता के इतिहास ने भी आपदा का इतना विकराल संकट इससे पहले नहीं झेला होगा। जब जीवन तहस नहस हो, लाखों जाने चली गयीं हों, बेघर सड़क पर घूम रहे हों, साहित्य में उसका प्रतिबिंब उतर ही आएगा, वह बेचैनी, वह असुरक्षा झलकेगी ही। लॉकडाउन में किताबों की बिक्री पर असर पड़ा, लेकिन लोगों ने लिखना-पढ़ना कम नहीं किया। किताबें, लेखनी सुकून खोजने के साधन बने। तकनीक पर हम ख़ूब आश्रित हुए। सैकड़ों लाइव कार्यक्रम द्वारा किताबों, रचनाओं पर सार्थक संवाद हुए।
बड़े मंचों की ज़रूरत कम हुई और युवाओं ने फेसबुक पेज़, ब्लॉग आदि आरम्भ कर निरन्तर साहित्यिक गतिविधियां बनाए रखीं। जानकीपुल, हिंदीनामा, रचियता, स्त्रीकाल, हिन्दगी, समन्वय स्पेस, स्त्री दर्पण, जनसुलभ पुस्तकालय, आलोचना, चिंतन साहित्यिक संस्था, इन दिनों मेरी किताब, पोएट्री जंक्शन आदि कई ऑनलाइन मंचों ने अपनी निरन्तर सकारात्मक भागेदारी द्वारा इस समय को रेखांकित किया और नए पाठक जोड़े।

साहित्य अगर साहित्य है, तो वह कहीं भी बचा रहेगा
कवि और लेखक अविनाश मिश्र सोशल मीडिया के महत्व और उसके इस्तेमाल को लेकर बेहद ही विस्तार से अपनी राय रखते हैं,
वे कहते हैं--- डिजिटल प्लेटफ़ॉर्म्स का महत्त्व कोविड-काल से पहले भी था, बल्कि यों भी महसूस किया गया कि यह महत्त्व प्रिंट में आने वाली पत्रिकाओं से अधिक ही था/ है। इस बीच कोविड ने जैसे सब जगह सब माध्यमों को प्रभावित किया, वैसे ही प्रिंट-पत्रिकाओं को भी। यह प्रभाव इसलिए और भी अधिक विकराल हो गया कि हिंदी की लगभग सभी प्रिंट-पत्रिकाओं की अपनी रनिंग वेबसाइट्स/ब्लॉग्स/सोशल मीडिया प्लेटफ़ॉर्म्स नहीं हैं। यह करना उनकी प्राथमिकताओं में रहा नहीं है और यह दुखद है कि अब तलक नहीं है। वे लगभग न सीखने की सौगंध लेकर ही काम करते आए हैं और कर रहे हैं। इसमें मैं एक पिछड़ापन और जड़ता देखता हूं।
इस बीच जहां तक साहित्यकारों और बौद्धिकों की डिजिटल उपस्थिति का प्रश्न है, मार्च-2020 से हिंदी साहित्य और इसकी गंभीरता का, इसकी ज़रूरत और जगह का जितना नुक़सान फ़ेसबुक की लाइव सुविधा ने किया है, उतना आज तक किसी और माध्यम ने नहीं किया है। इसने हिंदी लेखक को पूरी तरह एक्सपोज़ करके उसे हास्याप्रद, दयनीय और प्रचार-पिपासु बना दिया है।
साहित्यिक गोष्ठियां, साहित्योत्सव और इस सदी में प्रकट हुए लिट्-फेस्ट भी ये करते आए हैं, लेकिन उनमें कम से कम लेखक को यात्रा, जीवंत सामाजिक संपर्क और मानदेय जैसे सुख तो मिलते रहे हैं; लेकिन फ़ेसबुक-इन्स्टाग्राम-लाइव और वेबिनारादि ने लेखकों-कलाकारों को लगभग मुफ़्त का माल बना दिया है। वे इतने खलिहर, सर्वसुलभ, सहज उपलब्ध हैं; इस वास्तविकता के उद्घाटन का श्रेय कोविड-काल, फ़ेसबुकादि की लाइव सुविधा, वेबिनारादि के साथ-साथ हिंदी साहित्य और संस्कृति-जगत की कोरोजीवी प्रतिभाओं को जाता है।
भारत में अभी भी ई-बुक, ऑडियो बुक से जुड़ी तकनीकी समस्याएं हैं... इस बात में फ़िलहाल सचाई है और इससे सहमत भी हुआ जा सकता है। लेकिन साहित्य अगर साहित्य है, तब वह कहीं पर भी आए टिका और बचा रहेगा। वह लोगों तक भले ही न पहुंचे, पर वे लोग जो सचमुच उस तक पहुंचना चाहते हैं; उस तक अंततः पहुंच ही जाएंगे।
इस दृश्य में स्मार्ट फ़ोन अब केवल मनोरंजन के लिए नहीं है। वह जीवन का एक अहम अंग है। लेकिन वह प्रिंट-पत्रिकाओं और पुस्तकों को नष्ट कर सके, वह इतना ताक़तवर फ़िलहाल नहीं है। वह प्रिंट के महत्त्व और प्रसार को कम कर सकता है तो बढ़ा भी सकता है। हमें इसका सही उपयोग सीखने की ज़रूरत है।

आपदा ने हमारे एकांत को ‘लोकेट’ किया
दिल्ली से संचालित रुख़ पब्लिकेशन के प्रकाशक और संपादक अनुराग वत्स इस बारे में बेहद रचनात्मक राय रखते हैं, वे ऐसी आपदाओं के समय को कला और रचना के लिए उर्जा और उर्वरक मानते हैं, उनका कहना है--
देखिए कोरोना ने हमें साहित्य सृजन के लिए अवकाश दिया, दरअसल, इसने लेखक और पाठक दोनों के एकांत को लोकेट किया, एक तरह से मौका दिया रचनाकर्म करने के लिए।
हालांकि मैं कोरोना को श्रेय नहीं देना चाहता, लेकिन इस दौरान सृजन के लिए नई दृष्टि, नई रोशनी और नई ऊर्जा मिलती है। इसलिए आपदा का समय साहित्य सृजन के लिए उर्वर समय भी है। आगे भी देखने को मिलेगा कि जिन रचनाओं या कलाओं के बीच इस समय में रखे गए वो आगे चलकर सामने आएगीं।
