सिद्धार्थ शुक्ला के बारे में शहनाज़ गिल ने कहा कि रात 3 से साढ़े तीन बजे सिद्धार्थ ने बेचैनी की शिकायत की थी। सीने में दर्द होने के बारे में भी बताया था। तब शहनाज़, सिद्धार्थ के पास ही थी। उन्होंने उसी अपार्टमेंट में दूसरे फ्लैट में रहने वाली सिद्धार्थ की मां को तुरंत बुलाया।

सिद्धार्थ की मां ने सिद्धार्थ को पानी पीने को कहा साथ ही सलाह दी कि वे आंख बंद कर सोने की कोशिश करें। सिद्धार्थ ने पानी पिया और शहनाज़ की हथेलियों पर सो गए।

अहम सवाल ये है कि क्या किसी ने सोचा नहीं कि डॉक्टर को बुलाया जाना चाहिए। या सिद्धार्थ ने इस सलाह को अनसुना कर दिया। यदि डॉक्टर को रात में बुलाया जाता तो संभव है कि वह सिद्धार्थ के स्वास्थ्य संबंधी गंभीरता को समझ जाता। फौरन इलाज करता या अस्पताल में भर्ती होने की सलाह देता।

यदि ऐसा होता तो ये भी संभव था कि सिद्धार्थ को उचित इलाज मिल जाता और आज वे हमारे बीच में होते क्योंकि दिल के मामले में देरी बड़ी खतरनाक साबित होती है और यही सिद्धार्थ के मामले में हुआ।

सुबह 5.30 पर शहनाज़ ने महसूस किया कि सिद्धार्थ का बदन ठंडा पड़ता जा रहा है। एक बार फिर शहनाज़ ने सिद्धार्थ की मां को फोन किया और सारा माजरा बताया। इसी अपार्टमेंट में सिद्धार्थ की बहन प्रीति भी रहती हैं उन्हें भी फ्लैट नंबर 1204 में बुलाया गया।

परिवार ने सिद्धार्थ की सांस चेक की। नाड़ी चेक की। सिद्धार्थ को बिस्तर से जमीन पर उतारा। फैमिली डॉक्टर को बुलाया। जब देखा कि मामला गंभीर है तो सिद्धार्थ को लेकर सभी कूपर अस्पताल पहुंचे जहां पर डॉक्टर ने चेक कर उन्हें 'डेथ बिफोर अराइवल' घोषित किया।
